Here we have a Green treated 6ft tall board on board fence. This was installed earlier this summer. We treated this fence with SSE Wood cleaner to try to remove the mill glaze, stamps, and to pull out as much of the green color/ chemicals that they treat the wood with. Then used SSE wood brightener to neutralize and ready the woods pores for stain application. We then came back a day later and ensured the fence was below 14 percent moisture content, and then it was ready for an application of the customer’s choice of SSE product, in this case it was a Semi-Transparent stain and sealer, Pecan in color.
